Bought a car that had been steam cleaned internally. Over the course of a couple of days the damp seats started to smell distinctly funky. Bought this unit after reading a few other reviews. Amazed that after a single 30 minute use the interior musky smell had gone. It leaves behind a bit of an ozone smell but that went very quickly once the vehicle was aired properly. Only had to use once as the smell did not return. Expensive for one use, but probably worked out cheaper than buying 100's of air freshners to just mask the smell rather than get rid of it altogether.

This device is dangerous to have running around people. Yes, it has an “anion only” setting, but I would never trust it to be left on near where I'm sleeping. There's no clear indication whether the negative ion function also produces ozone, which is a serious concern. There’s no warning on the device itself about the potential risks, which is unacceptable. I'm returning it immediately – I won’t risk my health, and I would not recommend it to anyone. Also, if you’re thinking of using it, bear in mind the internal fan is so weak it barely moves any air.

I only used this once to try and remove the smell from a second hand car that had been smoked in. After about an hour, it seemed to do the trick although the car needed to air and took a few days afterwards for the swimming pool sort of smell to completely dissipate. It's a lot better, but probably not 100% gone. Please do read up and research before running one of these. Ozone is quite reactive (why it is good as getting rid of smells and protecting us from the sun). It will react with and damage plastics, rubbers and various other things as well as you! Do make sure whatever is being "de-smelled" has already been throuroughly cleaned. If it's a car, wet vac and wipe down everything you can reach first. The less crap for the ozone to react with, the better. It doesn't need to run for long (<60 mins) and remember that it will take a while to dissipate too so remember add that into your calculations.

The media could not be loaded. Very good unit, nice solid build, totally portable runs very quiet. There's 2 settings, one for ozone to clean out. Bad smells and bacteria and Ld and fungus and another setting to negatively charge the air. Ion generator for dust balls work well. Have variable settings between a 1/2 hour run time and up to 4 hours. Run time in half hour increments. When negative ion generator is running, you can have a 10 to 15 feet away and sleep fine. It's very quiet when ozone is running. You do not wanna be in the same room you have. Leave the room, close it up or your car and wait 30 minutes till it's finished. Before entering the room plants, pets and people cannot be in the same room with ozone. It is dangerous but this unit. I think will work well for you if you even have a large room 15 by 15 to clean up. I've said it so the negative ion generator comes on for an hour. When a lay down to sleep and man. It really helps clear the air highly recommend. Makes air smell fresh, knocks out dust, smoke if you have allergies. If you set it to run at night in the same room You're sleeping in the only recommendation I would have is to place a small cloth over the top display. It stays on when it runs and will stay on after it runs. In the red light is quite bright in a night setting..

Habe das Gerät erhalten und wollte es ausprobieren. Zunächst fiel sofort negativ auf, dass das Gerät keine deutsche Bedienungsanleitung enthält. Nur englisch und chinesisch. OK dachte ich mir, das wird ja nicht so schwer sein, die paar Knöpfe zu drücken. Als ich das Gerät anschließen wollte, merkte ich, dass der Stecker nicht in die Buchse ging. Erst dachte ich, dass es nur etwas klemmt. Aber dann sah ich, dass das Gerät einen 3-poligen Anschluss hat, das Kabel aber nur einen 2-poligen Anschluss besitzt (siehe Foto) Dann sah ich mir das Gerät genauer an. Es gibt ein Label mit einer CE Zertifizierung. Das kann niemals echt sein. Wenn ein falsches Kabel geliefert wird, entspricht das bereit deswegen nicht dem CE Standard. In dem Angebot steht 60.000 mg/h am Gerät selbst steht aber nur 20.000mg/h also falsche Produktbeschreibung auch noch. Das ist schon Betrug. Leider musste ich hier einen Stern vergeben, sonst hätte ich diese Rezension nicht schreiben können. ABSOLUTER CHINA SCHROTT. VORSICHT Gerät geht sofort zurück und wird gemeldet.

I have a previous rat infestation in my crawl space that I can't do proper abatement on right now. My crawl space is about 1000 sq ft and so I figured the largest would be in order. I ran it for one hour and while it completely knocked the odor out, it also wafted up into my house and lingers too long. So now I run it daily for 30 minutes and there is very little/no ozone noticeable in the house. Also there is no smell from the crawl space so everybody wins. If I was shopping again, I would have bought the smallest one since the timer is half-hour increments between .5 and 2.5 hours. I would have more fine grained control on the amount of ozone generated with the smaller one for my needs. Now if it wasn't a crawlspace, and was 1000sqft full-height room, maybe the big one would be necessary.

Got a new to me gmc 1500 that was a smoker truck. Put this unit in with the windows up for 15 minutes, then opened all the doors for over an hour. Smell is gone. Two weeks later and I have a very very fine hint of the smell. Which I will just ozone again after I give the truck a good cleaning. I can’t believe how well this thing worked. Amazing!
